soccer cleats 101
Six days ago I got a severe ankle contusion from a soccer incident. Can I play in 13 days? HELP!!?
Six days ago, I was playing in a soccer game and was slide tackled. My ankle received the full force of another girl’s cleat and immediately swelled. It is not broken, however i have a severe contusion. My ankle is not nearly as swollen as it was before, however it is discolored and has a black bruise near the sole of my foot. I can walk on my foot with little pain and i have been swimming to help with the stiffness. If I continue to ice and swim, stretch etc. will i be able to play a huge soccer game in 13 days? This game is very important and I have a two week break after it during which i can let my ankle heal more. PLEASE HELP!!!

you should be good in 13 days because a contusion is a fancy word for a bruise on your muscle same thing happened to me when i was playing ice hockey good luck on Your game

Can you help me find the best type of Soccer Shoe?
So, I’m basically having trouble finding the best type of Soccer Shoes for me. Is there once that will be useful indoors, outdoors AND turf? (most soccer shoes are either one or the other)
Will i be able to use Soccer Cleats indoors? Will Indoor Soccer shoes also work well when I’m playing outdoors?
Is there one type of soccer shoe out there that is perfect for playing soccer in general, no matter where and in what type of environment?
Someone just give me the 101 on soccer shoes, please.

I would recommend the Adidas F50. I have a pair that i use indoor, outdoor, and on turf. They work very well anywhere. You can also customize them on miadidas.com which will help you make the perfect Soccer Cleat.
